Report a Lost or Stolen Card

What to do if your debit card or credit card is lost or stolen…

Do you see an unfamiliar charge in your account history? Maybe your card isn’t in its normal place in your wallet? No matter the situation,  with card fraud it’s critical to act quickly.

If your card is lost, or you suspect that it’s been stolen or used without your authorization, you should follow these steps:

Visa Credit Cards

  1. Report your lost or stolen credit card by calling MKCU (during normal business hours), or by calling Visa Card Services (after hours) at 800-543-5073.
  2. Call MKCU during regular business hours to order a new card and/or to report suspicious activity on your card.

Debit Cards

  1. Report your lost or stolen debit card by calling MKCU (during normal business hours), or by calling Shazam Card Services (after hours) at 800-383-8000.
  2. Call MKCU during regular business hours to order a new card.
  3. If you have suspicious debit card transactions on your account, you will need to dispute these transactions through Shazam Dispute Services at 833-288-1126. (Please note that Shazam may experience high call volume from time to time, so your hold time might be lengthy. Thank you in advance for your patience.)
